"Triple A" is particularly concerned with the history of the 101st Airborne Division in World War II. Our association was founded in 2003 when some enthusiastic people who were interested in the history of this division and engaged in the re-enactment thereof, met in Grave (pronounce "Graawe") on the occasion of the commemoration of Operation Market Garden. They were enthusiastic reenactors of "Dutch Currahees" and "Rendez-vous with Destiny". The first group especially interested in 506th PIR "Easy"-Company and the second group in 506th PIR "Fox"-Company. This joining of forces has led to the new association "Triple A". The name stands for American Airborne Association - 3 A's or "Triple A". We are now one of the largest reenactor groups in the Netherlands that deals with only one airborne unit from the Second World War. Since 2006 we are recognized by and affiliated with the National Platform for Living History (LPLG), the umbrella organization for the re-enactment in the Netherlands . Our motto is: "History and reenactment only at the historical sites", or "History and reenactment only on the historic locations". When you see a picture of us in a foxhole in the Ardennes or in the Bocage in Normandy, then we are actually there.

Some of our members have become true artists over the years when it comes to manufacturing equipment and various other matters that can not be distinguished from the original: helmets, canvas material, patches, paper materials and so on.
